Experimental Characterization of Memory Effect, Anomalous Self-Preservation and Ice-Hydrate Competition, during Methane-Hydrates Formation and Dissociation in a Lab-Scale Apparatus

چکیده
This study explores the process of methane hydrate formation and dissociation in a small-scale confined environment presence porous sediment. The research is focused on answering shortage information about intrinsic properties processes, such as memory effect anomalous self-preservation, lab-scale apparatus. Experiments were carried out consecutively with same gas–water mixture. temperature reached during was high enough to ensure complete dissolution water cages. At time, it sufficiently low keep system able retain previous hydrates. Different well-known phenomena observed described; effect, self-preservation competition between ice hydrates shown detail. confirmed that improves mainly initial nucleation phase, while does not provide significant changes following massive growth phase. Finally, experiments proved can be divided two different steps: intense growth, due small difference local equilibrium conditions, subsequent asymptotic which continues until completed.
